My friend , did a lot of his own clearing by informing the agencies that the debts belonged to his brother, as is often the case , and it was removed immediately, but not added to his brothers history , sometimes they check the source , but mostly they don’t . His "own fault" credit flags could not be removed …unless they were mispelt , name or address , or date of birth incorrect , and is your right to have the agency check for accuracy.
My sister worked for a company which did the credit flagging , and she started as a temp and was eventually taken on full time permanent , because she manages to get through more work than the other girls , how do you think she did that?
Yep , she added when she was told to and deleted when she asked to , do you think she went to the paper files and checked manually? Of course she didn’t , unless she wanted to disappear for half an hour , and even then it was for a break , she didn’t really go for a check !

And if she did , do you think the file would be found in the correct place if filed by a worker on minimum wage or a temp who has a big pile of filing to do.
I had 2 court judgements against me , when I applied for a mortgage I did declare them , do you know they didn’t come up anywhere!
But late payment flags from Barclays bank , ooh there was many, just for paying a couple of days late!
I faxed over the next months bill which said payment made thank you , and bingo there were all gone, removed . The mortgage company didn’t care about those though, but I did it anyway, just for a clean record .

You see ,the late payment needs to be followed by another flag , court action , or settlement , but it is not always , so it was not necessary to do so,
do you think they checked my fax?
Do you think they rung the bank in question?
Do you think they want to waste half hour checking the truth or just get all their work done by 3 so the can play solitaire?
